Green Policy
The founders of Dynamic Wealth Strategies, LLC (“Dynamic”) believe very strongly in the effort to save our planet. Our resources are precious and need to be conserved for our future generations. This policy has been adopted by Dynamic and has been distributed to all of its members/employees. We do not claim any copyright on the contents of this Green Policy and we encourage other businesses to use or borrow from this policy in adopting their own green policy. If we work together, we can make a difference.
- Virtual Office: Dynamic has been set up as a virtual office. Whenever possible, we encourage our members to work from home to save on fuel, time in traffic, wear and tear, and carbon emissions.
- Paperless Office: Part of being a virtual office means that we must also be a paperless office. Although being completely paperless is virtually impossible, we strive very hard to send, receive, and maintain all of our documents in an electronic format. Not only does this save valuable physical space, but it also prevents us from making and keeping physical copies of documents that cross our desks, saving paper and toner. To maintain our paperless office each of our members maintains a high speed scanner on their desks. Our fax machine is also virtual and only generates electronic images of faxes that are received.
- Recycled Paper: When we do need to print, we encourage our members to print double‐sided or use the other side of the printed paper as scratch paper; provided, however, that it doesn’t contain any sensitive client data, in which case, it would be shredded.
- Hazardous Waste: Disposal of old office equipment, batteries, or other hazardous waste shall only be disposed of through the appropriate local hazardous waste channels.
- Energy Saving Mode: Office equipment, including computers, printers and other peripherals shall be configured to launch into a “sleep mode” when not in use. Additionally, we strongly encourage all members to turn off their computers at night.
- Energy Efficient: All purchase decisions for new office equipment shall factor in energy efficiency. Additionally, whenever possible, all Dynamic offices shall use energy efficient light bulbs and shall take other energy‐saving measures, such as the installation of light timers, programmable thermostats, heat reflective window film, etc.
